A huge thank you to everyone who helped us to raise over £71 for Dementia UK’s Time for a Cuppa.
We were impressed with the number of really delicious homemade cakes and that people had taken the time to make them.
All the bring and buy cakes went on sale at the GIFT Café on Chapel House Lane in Puddington. Our brilliant Admiral Nurses also made and sold a number of cakes.
The cake sale was part of a national campaign from Dementia UK to raise money to help to fund more specialist Admiral Nurses, who provide life-changing advice and support, to anyone affected by dementia.
With rising numbers of families impacted by the condition, thousands of people are not getting the support they need.
Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses understand the challenges faced by families with dementia and they offer hope to families, so they don’t have to face it alone.
